BIB Robotics brings scalable cleaning solutions for retail and large-scale facilities to Europe
14.04.2026 - A New Approach to Autonomous Cleaning in Retail. With intelligent navigation, fleet management, and a strong partner network, BIB is targeting leading retail chains and facility management organizations.
BIB Robotics distributes high-performance autonomous cleaning solutions for demanding commercial environments. By combining precise navigation with intuitive fleet management, the company helps its customers efficiently transition manual processes into data-driven operations. Whether office buildings, high-traffic retail spaces, or sprawling campus areas, BIB positions itself as a partner for intelligent and scalable facility management.
After three years of intensive expansion, BIB Robotics has successfully established itself in Japan and Korea. Since 2025, the company has been driving the expansion of its sales network in Europe and North America. "Continental Europe, particularly the D/A/CH region, France, and the Benelux countries, is a high priority for us. These markets are characterized by strong demand and a high affinity for professional cleaning technology," explains Willa Zhou, EMEA Sales General Manager at BIB Robotics. BIB's ambition goes beyond mere product solutions: "We see as a professional brand for cleaning robotics that delivers reliable services, not just smart devices," says Zhou.
The company is also setting ambitious goals at the strategic level. Within three years, BIB aims to be among the top three brands in the cleaning robotics sector. The D/A/CH region plays a key role here as a benchmark for the entire EMEA expansion. "A central component of our strategy is flagship projects with leading retail chains. They help us strengthen our market positioning in a targeted manner," says Zhou.
To facilitate market entry, BIB relies on close collaboration with sales partners and retailers. These partners receive test units as well as comprehensive sales and technical training. End customers typically benefit from trial periods lasting one to two weeks, accompanied by installation, configuration, training, and 24/7 support, both on-site and digitally.
Market Development and Trends
The market for cleaning robotics is currently in a dynamic phase. After about ten years of technological development and numerous field tests, acceptance is now rising significantly. At the same time, the market is not yet clearly dominated, an environment that opens up additional opportunities for new providers like BIB.
Regional differences remain crucial: While in Europe, labor shortages and rising costs in particular are increasing the pressure for automation, issues such as data protection (GDPR) and the handling of AI also play an important role. Large service providers and retail chains therefore pay attention not only to potential cost savings but also to implementation costs, process integration, and strategic factors such as digitalization and ESG goals.
Focus on Retail and Supermarkets
There is a particular focus on the retail sector: "Our new J36 model was specifically developed for standard supermarkets," explains Zhou. The market launch is planned for 2026/2027 as part of pilot projects with retail chains. These flagship projects will be centrally managed by BIB and supported by the emerging retailer network.
At the same time, the company is continuing to expand its partner structures, both in the facility management sector and in the municipal sector, where local partners are expected to play an important role in the future.
